Anonymous asked: is your boyfriend religious?
I’m single, haha
Yesterday was so intense on so many levels, it’s unbelievable. Despite the fact that it was Mother’s Day, I left the house to be out with Joe. I’m not really family oriented, but that should say enough. So I got a call from Joe saying how much he hated his family and how he can’t go back to his house, and of course, I told him that if he ever needed me, I’d always be available. Not too long after that phone call, Joe calls me back to tell me that he’s in Mihama and that he wants to know if I can meet him there. Sadly, to my dismay, without any hesitation, I hop into the shower, get dressed, get ready, and walk down to 58 to catch the next bus to Mihama.
Eventually, I made it. However, since it was Mother’s Day and I didn’t get my mum anything, I decided to go to Starbucks and get a giftcard for my mum. It wasn’t much, but it was better than nothing and I know how much my mum loves her coffee, haha. After I walked in and was masked with the smell of coffee, I realized that I didn’t have lunch. So I walked over to the bread store inside Jusco and bought bread for Joe and I, then walked to the drinks section and bought calpis and straight tea. After a good laughs, we went up to the second floor to have our “lunch” and we talked about how the Japanese dress so weirdly or how the men on island lack “swag.”
After that, we went to Dragon Palace and played in the arcade for a while. It felt nice knowing that I could kick Joe’s ass in almost every game, from Mario Kart to Air Hockey to even the Asian Taiko Drums, haha. Later on, despite the intense rain fall, we ate “San Fran FroYo.” Honestly, I hate calling it that, it’s so stupid, haha. But for those who are actually reading this, we ate at Yogurt Land. By this time, it was probably after 8, so we called up Jono to see if he can pick us up and drop me off at my house. 9 rolled around and he finally showed up. I had Jono drop me off at my house, but then by the time he finally parked his car, it was only 10 and I figured that I had time to kill, so I asked if he wanted to have late night McDonalds. Seriously, best thing ever, haha.
Bottom line, my day yesterday was really, really good. Thanks mum for letting me out on Mother’s Day!
